The Roosevelt is a top-of-the-line hotel located in the heart of Manhattan. The magnificent high-domed ceiling in the lobby is reminiscent of the Art Deco-style. Because of it's large size (the hotel takes up an entire city block), the hotel does not have it's own numbered street address. In 1996, the Roosevelt underwent a vast renovation project, although many of the original furnishings are still used in the decor. The hotel, which is named after President Theodore Roosevelt, also has a life-size bronze relief of the former President in the lobby. The Roosevelt is conveniently located near all of New York City's most popular attractions including the Broadway Theatre, the Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall and the Museum of Modern Art.
